Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah is a South African comedian, TV host, actor, political commentator and author. He first gained recognition in the U.S. in 2014 when he joined Comedy Central's The Daily Show. Noah then took over as host in 2015 and earned an Emmy in 2017 for outstanding short-form variety series for his work on the news program. In addition to his comedy specials and work on The Daily Show, he has also appeared in films, voicing the artificial intelligence Griot in Black Panther (2019) and playing Totatsi Bibinyana in Coming 2 America (2021). In 2021 and 2022, Noah hosted the Grammy Awards. His 2016 memoir Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood is a New York Times best seller.
