No, Amanza Smith Has Not Heard from Trevor Noah, but She's Happy Being Single (Exclusive)

Although Amanza Smith hasn't from her "future husband," comedian and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah, she's okay with being single — for now.

On season 8 of Selling Sunset, which dropped on Netflix Sept. 6, Smith, 47, confirmed that she wasn't currently dating anyone — despite sparking romance rumors with a mystery man on Instagram last summer — and didn't shy away from putting her dating aspirations out into the universe. 

In fact, she thought English reality TV star Joey Essex, 34, and his boxing buddy, Conor Benn, were cute during their cameo this season. She also shared that she has the hots for Lenny Kravitz, 60, and a major crush on Noah, 40, who was working with the Oppenheim Group to sell his house.

Noah was previously in a relationship with Minka Kelly, which ended in 2022. Kravitz was married to Lisa Bonet from November 1987 to 1993. Since then, he has been linked to Vanessa Paradis, Adriana Lima and Nicole Kidman, but recently revealed he hasn't been in a serious relationship in nine years.

When it comes to Noah, in particular, Smith described him as brilliant and handsome, telling her co-workers that she thought the two would "make a cute couple" when they suggested that she should be the one to show him properties as he looks for a new home.  

But despite all that, Smith tells PEOPLE she has yet to hear from Kravitz or Noah. "Trevor Noah has not reached out. Lenny Kravitz has not," she says while looking back on filming the drama-filled new season of the hit Netflix series, which also saw her physically and mentally bouncing back from a life-threatening health scare and discovering her passion as a painter after landing her first art gallery gig. 

Not only has she not heard from Kravitz, Smith admits that she mistakenly thought the music icon had slid into her DMs on Instagram multiple times.

"It's so embarrassing," she says, explaining that on the social media platform it looks like someone has sent you a direct message when it's actually a notification that they updated their channel. It's something she has fallen for "probably two or three times."

"But no, Lenny Kravitz and Trevor Noah have not reached out," Smith confirms. 

The former Indianapolis Colts cheerleader and Deal or No Deal briefcase model has dated several celebrities in the past.

She was linked to NSYNC's JC Chasez, dated actor Taye Diggs, and was married to NFL player Ralph Brown, with whom she shares two kids: daughter Noah and son Braker.

Smith also had a flirtatious encounter this season with a guy named Zach, who tried to get her number during a visit to Pioneertown, the Old West town the show's newest agent Alanna Gold owns a portion of.

Asked if she might be interested in pursuing anything with him, she laughs and says, "Oh, my god, I was just being nice. He was cute but not my type." 

For now, the real estate agent confirms to PEOPLE that she's "still single" and that her focus is on taking care of herself.

"I mean, I do all right, but I'm just not really interested in dating right now. I'm really focused on just trying to catch up to where I feel like I should be," Smith continues. "It takes a lot to go on a date" and right now, she says, she's invested in her art and pushing that newfound career forward as she prepares for an exhibit coming up in London.
