Coffee, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal. The brand's name comes from the Spanish translation of “my God!” which is “a common expression used by Latinos when discovering the perfect taste and flavor,” according to a press release. “Creating ¡DÍOS MIO! came from personal necessity — I have a very high bar when it comes to my coffee, and I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find quality coffee where I live in LA," Vergara tells PEOPLE. The ¡Díos Mio! includes three coffee blends. Dios Mio Vergara worked with the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia to ensure the products were made from authentic Colombian beans. Three ¡Díos Mio! blends — Sweetness, Balance and Strength — are made with those beans and each is meant to honor different “qualities and characteristics of Colombian women,” per a release. "It’s exciting to highlight the female coffee growers in Colombia who work tirelessly and meticulously at what they do. Drinking and enjoying coffee has long been a tradition in our everyday lives and I love that we can finally share ¡DÍOS MIO!," Vergara adds to PEOPLE. Sweetness is the light roast and is inspired by a grandmother’s hug. The name and blend of flavors is inspired by women who “balance work, family and passion for coffee.” Strength, the dark roast, rounds out the trifecta of blends and pays homage to the powerful “Colombian women in coffee farming.” Hints of cocoa and smoky flavor come through in the blend from “excessive caramelization.” ¡Díos Mio! is sold exclusively online at Walmart.
