The on-off pair's outing sparked reconciliation rumors after fan-recorded footage captured the "I Luv It" singer, 27, and her “Mercy” singer ex, 25, sitting side-by-side chatting during the soccer match at Hard Rock Stadium. However, "They were there coincidentally," a source tells PEOPLE. "She actually took her dad as her date." Reps for Cabello and Mendes did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
