Quincy, 33, announced a new project called It’s Just a Vlqg on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and in a trailer that debuted on The Shade Room, his embattled father makes a brief appearance while on a family vacation. In the clip, Combs, 54, stands shirtless in the background among his children, smiling and cheering as they dig into a buffet-style meal. A voice can be heard calling, “Combs family vacation!” as Quincy films the scene. It’s unclear when the shot was filmed, as Combs is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail by two different judges. He was indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution in September, and has pleaded not guilty. Well, kind of. It’s actually never as it seems,” Quincy says in a voiceover. “I’m always doing something. Always. And that’s what makes this life a journey.” The vlog announcement — which teased a release date of Oct. 27 — comes one day after Combs’ adult and teenage children declared their support for the music mogul in a joint statement shared both with PEOPLE and on Instagram. “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media,” the kids wrote. “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family.
