On the SAG Awards 2024 red carpet Saturday night, the 33-year-old actress told Netflix that she and the rest of the cast of Superman: Legacy recently had their first table read for the upcoming reboot. One exciting piece of costume news? "I saw the suit — it looks amazing," said Brosnahan, who is up for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series as Miriam "Midge" Maisel in her final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. "I can't wait to everyone to see it," she added of the suit. Entertainment All the Actors Who Have Played Superman on Screen Gunn confirmed the casting of Corenswet, 30, and Brosnahan on X (formerly known as Twitter) in June 2023, writing, "Accurate! (They are not only both incredible actors, but also wonderful people)." Brosnahan had addressed casting rumors the previous month when asked about them on The View, saying she would be excited to have the chance to play Lois. "It would be extraordinary," she said at the time. "I grew up watching Lois Lane, this incredibly talented journalist who is far from a damsel in destress. And I would jump at the chance if it arose." The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are currently streaming live on Netflix, from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
