On Thursday, NBC and Peacock announced the star-studded performance lineup for the upcoming award show, airing live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay and HARDY will take the stage to perform some of their biggest hits during the show. Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Toby Keith and Wynonna Judd will also be performing. Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson Dominate 2023 People's Choice Country Nominations: See the Full List The nominees for the award show — which is an offshoot of the People's Choice Awards — was announced in August. There are 12 award categories total. Country superstars Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen dominate the categories. Brown and Jelly Roll also have a substantial number of nods with six each. Up for the biggest award of the night, People's artist of 2023, is Shelton, Brown, Ballerini, Wilson, Combs, Wallen, Old Dominion and Zach Bryan. Throughout the evening, there will be several honorary awards presented, including the Country Music Icon Award, which will be presented to Keith by Shelton.
