Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin Get 'Gussied Up' in Matching Black Suits for 2024 MTV VMAs Date Night

Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin just took date night to the 2024 MTV VMAs!

On Sept. 11, the couple arrived at UBS Arena in New York for the star-studded show and, as always, did not fail to bring their coordinating style to the carpet.

Both the "Wranglers" singer, 40, and her husband decided to twin in sleek black suits — but, with a twist.

Lambert opted for a fitted jacket with a wide paisley collar that revealed her turquoise bra underneath. She also wore a matching necklace by Lagos Jewelry which drew attention to her cleavage-baring moment on top.

For glam, the country star went for her signature smoky eyeshadow, glossy nude lip and loose beach waves.

McLoughlin cleaned up in an all-black ensemble by Tom Ford and, like his wife, showed a hint of skin with the buttons of his silky shirt undone. He also wore a monochromatic watch.

Lambert couldn't wait for fans to see her man in his look because, just hours before their appearance, she shared a video of him getting "gussied up" at what appeared to be a Tom Ford store on her Instagram Stories.

The pair have been rocking coordinating glam since their red carpet debut at the 2019 ACM Awards, three months after they tied the knot in Nashville in January of that year. For their big moment as newlyweds, Lambert wore a neon green halterneck gown while McLoughlin wore a traditional suit.

Their most recent appearance was at the 2024 ACM Awards in May, where they, you guessed it, coordinated in black outfits.

Lambert and McLoughlin met while he was working security at Good Morning America and in her PEOPLE 2022 cover story, she opened up about their strong bond.

"I want to be open about how happy we are," Lambert told PEOPLE at the time. "I just don't give two s---s about people's opinion of me, my marriage, my music or anything else. I just care that I'm being me. He jumped right into this lifestyle — there's a learning curve taking a New Yorker straight to the woods — but it was a big laugh. It's nice to have a partner in that, someone by your side that supports you, loves you and believes in you. He loves me for me. It's a really cool thing to have in my life, at this point in my life."
