Pamela Anderson Wears Bold Black Look to the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards

The star continued her makeup-free streak on the red carpet

Pamela Anderson knows just how to make a statement.

The star stepped out looking bold in black for the 13th Annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards on Thursday, Nov. 14, in Los Angeles. The event, which is held in partnership with Variety, celebrates "the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes of films," per the outlet.

Anderson, 57, walked the red carpet in a business chic ensemble. The star paired a black button-down top with a black, ankle-length pencil skirt. Her top showed a pop of color with a white collar and red material at her wrists.

She wore her signature blonde hair down, and per her signature makeup-free lifestyle, opted for a fresh-faced beauty look.

The star pulled her look together with a pair of black pumps.

The award categories for the evening include editing, stunts, animation, cinematography and costumes. Creatives behind films like Dune: Part Two, Inside Out 2, Gladiator II, Emilia Pérez are being recognized. Ryan Reynolds, Jon Batiste and Gia Coppola were announced as additional honorees on Thursday, Nov. 14.

"Variety has a long history of highlighting the stellar work of artisans essential to the craft of filmmaking,” Dea Lawrence, Variety chief operating and marketing officer, said, per the outlet. “We’re excited to have this opportunity to honor them alongside our partner Hamilton.”

Anderson stars in the upcoming film The Last Showgirl, which made its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in September. The Gia Coppola-directed movie also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song and Dave Bautista.

While promoting the project (as well as her new vegan cookbook I Love You), the Baywatch alum has continued her makeup-free streak as she kicked off Paris Fashion Week in September 2023.

“I created this character to combat or to cover up a lot of my disappointment in things that have happened along the way,” Anderson recently told The Sunday Times about her beauty philosophy.

“Now I’m playing myself," she continued. "Now I feel more myself than ever."
