Addison Rae is feeling "Like a Virgin" at the 2024 MTV VMAs!

The "Diet Pepsi" singer strutted down the red carpet at New York's UBS Arena on Sept. 11 in an all-white lingerie ensemble reminiscent of Madonna's 1984 VMAs performance — and the Queen of Pop's iconic 2003 recreation of the moment with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

"This ole thing? This is Miss Claire Sullivan, and it’s custom," Rae, 23, told MTV in an interview on the red carpet of the look: a white bra adorned with feathers, matching panties and a voluminous tulle skirt with more feathers.

The outfit was partially inspired by Madonna, whom she also referenced in the music video for her latest single, "Diet Pepsi."

"A lot of Russ Meyer for the music video, Bruce Conner Breakaway, Madonna — I wore a cone bra," Rae told MTV of what went into the visual. "That’s part of the inspiration for tonight, but a little bit of ‘Diet Pepsi’ in there and a little bit Madonna."

The Thanksgiving star was clearly channeling Madonna's 1984 "Like a Virgin" performance, as well as the 2003 performance featuring her memorable kiss with Spears and Aguilera.

Rae then praised Spears, a fellow Louisiana native, for the Princess of Pop's big moments at the awards show: "My favorite VMAs looks of all time are probably every single time Britney came on and performed, but especially when she did ‘Satisfaction' [at the 2000 VMAs]."

Bridal-inspired looks seem to be a trend on the 2024 VMAs red carpet, as Anitta and Sabrina Carpenter have both appeared in white dresses.

"Diet Pepsi" was released last month, marking Rae's second music drop of the year after Charli xcx's remix of "Von Dutch" with her and A.G. Cook came out in March.

As for what's next, she told MTV, "I’m writing a lot of stuff. I’m working on more music. Things are coming. Stay tuned!"

In February, Rae told PEOPLE she's "always in the studio" and teased that fans will "see what happens."

The 2024 MTV VMAs air on Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/ PT live from the UBS Arena in New York.
