Since the beloved rom-com hit theaters in 2001, Lopez has remained in the spotlight as an actress, singer, dancer, producer and entrepreneur. Her most famous films following the release of The Wedding Planner include Enough (2002), Maid in Manhattan (2002), Shall We Dance (2004), Monster-in-Law (2005), Second Act (2018), Hustlers (2019), Marry Me (2022) and Shotgun Wedding (2022) to name a few. Lopez's next film, The Mother, is set to be released in May 2023 on Netflix. The "Jenny from the Block" entertainer has also continued to release music, wrapping up her successful Las Vegas residency in September 2018. In 2011, Lopez joined American Idol as a judge for five seasons. A few years later, she made history for Latina representation for her co-headlining performance with Shakira at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show in 2020, which she documented in the aptly-titled 2022 Netflix documentary Halftime. After her split from then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez in March 2021, Lopez rekindled her relationship with actor Ben Affleck, whom she previously dated from 2002 to 2004. The two announced their engagement in April 2022 and later wed in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022. Lopez has twins Max and Emme from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony. Meanwhile, Affleck has three children — Violet, Seraphina and Samuel — he shares with ex-wife and actress Jennifer Garner. 02 of 09 Matthew McConaughey as Steve "Eddie" Edison Columbia/Intermedia/Pacifica/Kobal/Shutterstock; Mark Sagliocco/WireImage Matthew McConaughey played the leading man, Dr. Steve "Eddie" Edison, in The Wedding Planner, where he rescued and ultimately fell in love with Lopez's character, Mary.
