Katrina Bowden and Adam Taylor said "I do" in Hawaii!

The actress, 36, and musician, 43, tied the knot in a ceremony at the Kalama Beach Club in Kailua, Taylor's hometown, followed by a reception at the Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki on Friday, Nov. 8.

"We wanted the ceremony to be intimate and laid-back, with a strong Hawaiian influence and a gorgeous location as the backdrop," Bowden tells PEOPLE. "We decided to have the wedding in two locations because we also really wanted to throw a big fun party for our friends and family."

"So, we definitely combined these two visions by starting it off outdoors with a laid-back feel, acoustic Hawaiian music, barefoot vibe … then moving everyone to the ballroom of the Kaimana hotel for an elevated dance party," she adds.

The 30 Rock alum walked down the aisle in front of 125 guests wearing the "Clo" dress from Grace Loves Lace — a simple, romantic gown with rose lace detailing, a low-cut back and flared silhouette. She accessorized with a Keyzar diamond tennis bracelet. The bride and groom's wedding rings were also designed by Keyzar.

Bowden says she was most anticipating the moment when she saw "Adam waiting for me to walk down the aisle and then celebrating with our family and friends."

"The wedding is very us — laid-back but with impeccable details that reflect who we are," Bowden says of her "beachy" nuptials, which incorporated local greenery and foliage, as well as pops of pink and orange in the florals to highlight the stunning tropical environment.

She continues, "The dream come true part is finding each other and getting to celebrate our love."

Taylor's Iration bandmate, Drake Peterson, officiated the ceremony. The trumpet player was responsible for introducing the pair in Oahu a few years ago while he was on vacation with the bride.

"Peterson said that we should hang out with him while we were there," Bowden recalls. "He was back home visiting his mom and brother. He played tour guide, and we hit it off instantly. We've been together ever since."

During the cocktail hour, a hula dancer and three-piece Hawaiian band, Puamana, wowed guests. Later on, Iration guitarists Micah Pueschel and Micah Brown joined the acoustic band to perform Bowden and Taylor's first dance song, "Every Night Every Morning" by Maoli.

Guests enjoyed Bowden's "absolute favorite combo for snacking" during the cocktail hour — charcuterie and cheese boards. A buffet-style dinner featuring a Hawaiian/Pacific fusion menu of mochiko chicken, teriyaki beef and Spam musubi was available at the ballroom party. Dessert was slices of the simple, one-tier vanilla wedding cake.

For "a little wow factor," Bowden surprised everyone with a second look that night. She turned heads in a short, strapless dress with a detachable train by WONA Bridal.

The evening before the wedding, Bowden and Taylor hosted a welcome party at the pool deck of Romer Waikiki at The Ambassador. The morning after, the couple had brunch with close family and friends at the Hau Tree restaurant at the Kaimana Beach Hotel.

Taylor proposed to Bowden on Sept. 22, 2023, while they were vacationing in Italy.

"We were on the Amalfi Coast and Adam rented a boat for the day," Bowden recalls. "He anchored the boat near a small empty beach and we swam ashore. He brought a dry bag with him (with the ring in it) and proposed on that beach. Positano was in the background, and just us in our bathing suits. It was very romantic and special."

For Bowden, marrying Taylor means "sharing our love for each other and committing to a lifetime partnership."

"Adam is my favorite person, and I can't wait to be stuck with him forever," she tells PEOPLE, adding, "Life with Adam is so fun, fulfilling and easy. He adds so much love, humor and joy to my life. He's such a good friend and such a caring man who respects and loves me how I've always wanted to be loved."
