Bradley Cooper Brings Mom Gloria Campano as His SAG Awards Date While Irina Shayk Works Abroad

The 44-year-old actor brought a very special lady as his date to the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards — his mom!

Bradley Cooper attended the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards with one very special lady — his mother!

The 44-year-old actor had his mom, Gloria Campano, on his arm at Sunday night’s award show, for which he was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a motion picture for A Star Is Born.

Cooper, who also co-wrote and directed the film, wasn’t with longtime girlfriend Irina Shayk, who is busy working abroad.

The Russian model was spotted at an event for Marc Jacobs beauty in Moscow, days after making a slew of appearances at Paris Couture Week.

Meanwhile, Cooper spent his weekend jetting to Las Vegas to join his A Star Is Born costar Lady Gaga at her residency for their first live performance of “Shallow.”

Cooper and Shayk, who share daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, made a high-fashion appearance at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month and were very cuddly in front of the camera. Shayk even made sure to adjust Cooper’s bow tie.

A Star is Born marks Cooper’s directorial debut, which follows him as aging country rocker Jackson Maine, who falls in love with a young singer (Lady Gaga) and helps her launch her career.

“I spent about 15 years going from movie to movie to movie. And then I hit 39 and I stopped and I said, ‘What do I really want to do?’ I want to tell Joseph Merrick’s story in The Elephant Man. So I did that for a year,” Cooper, 43, recently told NPR. “Then this story came to me, A Star Is Born, and then I spent the next four years doing that. And the one thing that I know in the future is: It’s worth all the time to dedicate, even if one piece of art comes out of it in a half a decade, that would still be incredible as long as I can feel like it’s the movie I wanted to make, which is this movie.”

The 25th SAG Awards, hosted by Megan Mullally, are being broadcast live on TNT and TBS from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
