Even Renée Zellweger Isn't Sure Which Guy She Ends Up with in 'Bridget Jones's Baby' : 'I Don't Know What They're Going to Do'

If you’re anxiously counting down the days to find out whether Bridget Jones ends up with dreamy Mark Darcy or the new hunky billionaire in Bridget Jones’s Baby – turns out, you’re not alone.

Renée Zellweger stopped by the Today show on Friday where she revealed that even she doesn’t know who is the father of Jones’ baby in the upcoming flick.

“They kept us guessing,” said Zellweger. “Because you know, people with cellphones and people talking, and I might slip up and tell my mom, ‘Oh you know when she ends up with …’ “

In order to keep the cast in the dark, Zellweger, 44, and costars Colin Firth and Patrick Dempsey shot multiple endings for the film – and even they don’t know which one will make the final cut.

“I don’t know what they’re going to do,” admitted Zellweger. “Either way, it doesn’t look like it’s going to be a terribly difficult ending for her.”

But whether Jones ends up with her longtime love or her new suitor, one thing is for sure: everyone can’t help but love the hapless Brit.

“I love her humanity,” said Zellweger of what first attracted her to the character. “I love that she’s so humble. She’s self-deprecating, but she’s optimistic and always finds a way. I think people relate to her perfect imperfection.”

Bridget Jones’s Baby is due in theaters Sept. 16.
