On May 26, the couple was spotted on a shopping trip in the Hamptons as they enjoyed Memorial Day Weekend together, just one week after they secretly tied the knot. Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, 22, exchanged vows in a private wedding ceremony, PEOPLE confirmed on May 24, and the young couple appears to be making the most of married life together. In photos exclusively obtained by PEOPLE, the Stranger Things star was dressed casually in a white tank top, pink and white striped pants and sandals, while her husband wore loose-fitting lightwash jeans, sneakers and a navy t-shirt with sunglasses. They were both carrying bags, and wedding bands could be seen on both of their ring fingers. In one particularly sweet shot, Bongiovi — the second youngest son of Jon Bon Jovi — reached behind him for the actress' hand as they made their way across the parking lot. "They both looked very happy and in love," a source tells PEOPLE. "They weren't hiding their wedding rings while shopping in the Hamptons after getting married." Matt Agudo / SplashNews On May 24, they were seen for the first time since the news of their secret wedding as the model drove around the Hamptons in a convertible with the top down alongside his wife. They were both dressed casually for the outing, in sunglasses, t-shirts and jeans, with wedding bands on full display. In April 2023, Brown announced her engagement to Bongiovi on Instagram, quoting a Taylor Swift song in the caption as she wrote, "I've loved you three summers now honey, I want 'em all." She later revealed that he proposed to her underwater as she shared that their mutual love of diving is something they bonded over. "He gives me a shell and I turn it over and it's a ring," she told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show in March, before noting that it was difficult to convey her answer to the proposal given that they were underwater. "And I think it was underwhelming, but we freaked out. Anyways he puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my fingers, plummets like so fast, it was like a cinematic movie." Her fiancé then "threw himself like so deep" to recover the ring, which she said felt like "a reflection of who he is and I feel like we're always going to have each other's back."
