Mickey Guyton's son is (not so) secretly a huge Tinashe fan.

Appearing on The View on Friday, Sept. 27, the singer spoke about her new album and her song, "Scary Love," which is about her son, Grayson, now 3. Guyton, who shares her son with husband Grant Savoy, said that he can be very opinionated about what songs he likes — and even has few favorites that might be surprising.

"He's definitely let me know if he doesn't like it," Guyton, 41, says of songs Grayson has listened to. "He'll be like, 'Stop it, Mommy!' And I'm like, 'Well, thank you Grayson...' "

"His favorite artist is Kendrick Lamar. Like, he love him, y'all. He loves 'Euphoria.' But then he'll also sing 'Nasty' by Tinashe," the proud mom says. "And I'm like, 'I've got to turn off the radio because this is just...' "

"He'll be like, 'I've been a nasty girl.' I'm like, 'Grayson, where did you get that?' " she jokes.

These aren't the first antics that Guyton's son has gotten into. When the musician appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show in June, she shared that her son had made a hilarious face when they met the president of the United States.

"Listen, he is his own person. I’ve got an Aquarius baby and he just walks into these moments and he just does not care. Again, kids really humble you," Guyton began. "He’s just walking in this space so confidently and so sure of himself and it’s really beautiful to see.”

“I know we have a photo of you guys as a family with the first family," Hudson, 43, said as the photo appeared behind her on the screen.

In the picture, Guyton stood next to President Biden, 81, and her husband Savoy, who held Grayson. The toddler could be seen putting his fingers in his mouth and making funny faces for the camera.

“Is he making faces?” Hudson asked. “Yes, he is. I did not tell him to do that,” Guyton reaffirmed, explaining that “I did not tell him to do that.”

Last September, the singer-songwriter attended the People's Choice Country Awards in Nashville and chatted with PEOPLE exclusively, revealing that Grayson has a trick to staying up past his bedtime.

"He's got such a good sense of humor," she told PEOPLE. "What he's starting to do at night, because he doesn't like to go to bed, he is smart so he starts, you know like saying his stomach hurts, or saying, 'I don't feel good.' "

"Or, 'Mommy lay down,' because he wants me to lay...so he's like a little mischievous. And he likes to sneak and take our things and put them in places. Like we wouldn't be able to find our phone. We won't be able to find our lint roller because Grayson has taken it upon himself to hide it," Guyton continued.
