The singer, 39, wore the perfect white halter dress to attend the 35th Annual Colleagues Spring Luncheon & Oscar de la Renta Fashion Show with her parents, Keith Hudson and Mary Perry, on Thursday, April 25. The American Idol judge was all smiles as she posed for photos with her family wearing the gorgeous floral number that had intricate lace details and was paired with strappy white heels. Her father wore a black Western-style shirt, skinny-fit pants and a cap. Also in attendance was Angela Lerche, Katy's sister, who wore a beige spaghetti-strap dress with olive green heels. It's no surprise that the Perry family was in attendance being that Katy was honored with the Colleagues Champion of Children Award at the event for her work with the Firework Foundation. The musician launched the organization with her sister "to empower children from underserved communities by igniting their inner light through the arts," its website states. One of the organization's key events is Camp Firework, where more than 400 middle schoolers from underserved areas surrounding Los Angeles take part in songwriting sessions, shoe design workshops and choreography classes. Lerche echoed the same sentiments, telling PEOPLE that working with her sister has been a "dream."
