PEOPLE can exclusively confirm that The Vampire Diaries star, 34, has tied the knot with her business partner and best friend Bryant Wood

The pair had a legal ceremony in Los Angeles where they wore matching white outfits and had a friend officiate their union.

They are planning a larger, second ceremony next year, but no date has been set.

The Love in the Villa actress and her husband, who is a master breathwork instructor and motivational coach, have been best friends for five years since starting their wellness company Modern Nirvana, along with Frank Elaridi.

Wood and Graham took their relationship a step further in June when they began dating.

The "Sassy" singer and Wood have managed to keep their relationship out of the public eye, instead focusing on their passion, Modern Nirvana.

“Big next couple months for @modern.nirvana,” the motivational speaker captioned a July 2022 Instagram upload.

“I am grateful to have such beautiful and powerful friends that I get to create a better world with!” he added on a group shot that included Graham.

Later that year, he shared more exciting news about their growing endeavor.

“Today is the official release of the @modern.nirvana oracle deck! Link in bio ❤️,” Wood wrote on a video of himself debuting the new product in October 2022.

The guide book, created by the newlyweds, Frank Elaridi, and Jennifer Sodini, comes with 50 cards. According to their website, it’s meant to be used “as a tool of self-inquiry and empowerment through life’s transitions.”

In March 2021, Graham talked to PEOPLE for the annual Beautiful Issue about self-love and a particularly important life transition that came during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I had a lot of self-realization," she said.

"You've got to get into this self-love space," Graham said. "No matter how much work you get done, if you don't love yourself, if you haven't really accepted yourself, the work will never end. You'll always find something that you could just tweak, or if I could just have that, and it'll never be over. Give yourself an opportunity to heal. Because it takes a long time and you don't know who you might inspire if you just loved yourself."
