People Editorial Guidelines Published on September 14, 2023 07:15PM EDT The Fab 5 aren't all feeling fab about Antoni Porowsk's recent bachelor party. Last weekend, Queer Eye's food expert celebrated his upcoming nuptials to fiancé Kevin Harrington in Tennessee's Blackberry Mountain with several celebrity friends, including costar Tan France. But the rest of the Queer Eye cast — Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness — were not present at Porowski’s weekend in the woods, and apparently weren't invited! “The shade of it all!” Brown said during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live Thursday. “Bobby was not invited, I was not invited, and Jonathan was not invited… just Tan was invited. The shade!” That was similar to what Berk, 42, had said during a visit to Andy Cohen's radio show on Wednesday, though the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host recalled to Brown that Berk "said it nicer." Antoni Porowski Says He's Going to Be a 'Complete Nut Job' About Food at His Wedding (Exclusive) "Bobby made it seems like, 'Oh we couldn't make it but Tan was able to make it,' " Cohen, 55, said. “Nooo," Brown, 42, said. "Listen, I'm all about being real and being upfront. We weren't invited.” PEOPLE reached out to representatives for Van Ness, 36, and Porowski for comment. But he then when on to say that his feelings weren't necessarily hurt. “When it comes to events like that — like family things, weddings — it costs money, so I don't take offense to it,” he explained. Jonathan Van Ness Says He Is Working to Overcome a Binge Eating Disorder: 'I Honor My Journey' Brown also said that he assumes that he and the other cast members will be at Porowski’s upcoming wedding. "But if we were not, I would be okay because people who get married, you understand what it costs per plate," Brown said. He also acknowledged Cohen’s point that a wedding is not the same as a bachelor party cost wise, saying, “I know, yeah... I didn't take any shade to it.” In fact, Brown told Cohen that if he had a bachelor party, he "would not" invite Porowski to it. “I drink. I'm doing a shroom. I'm doing, you know, having a good time. And he's not — he's sober. So ‘I'm not gonna invite you, girl, so that you can be over in the corner... Like, no. So again, no shade.” On Monday, Porowski, 39, shared several images to Instagram from his bachelor weekend, which was also attended by Gigi Hadid, and Benji Pasek — the Oscar, Grammy and Tony-winning composer and lyricist (The Greatest Showman, La La Land and Dear Evan Hansen). Search Engine host PJ Vogt and actors Reema Sampat (Orange Is the New Black), and Christian Coulso (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) were among the guests, too. “Stag in the bag ✅,” he wrote in the caption. The seventh season of Queer Eye aired on Netflix in May, which featured the Fab 5 helping such people as members of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity; a woman who served 12 years in prison; an educator; and a deli owner. At the time of the season premiere, Brown told PEOPLE that he and his cast mates just keep getting better: “I really do applaud, Jonathan has been saying his makeovers are bigger,” he said. “I'm like, 'Yes, they're getting better and more beautiful.' What Bobby keeps doing with these homes, what Antoni keeps doing in introducing people to food in a passionate way, and Tan in this fashion. I'm just like, 'Wow. We are elevating,' and I say this not with ego, it's like, pat yourself on the back." The Fab 5 in 'Queer Eye'. The other Queer Eye cast members also told PEOPLE back in May that the heroes they encounter inspire them, thus allowing them to avoid getting into a creative rut. “I think the skill that we bring is asking questions that inspire our work,” said France, 40. “If we don't ask enough questions of our heroes, we would get stuck. But we do understand the importance of making it a really unique experience for every one of our heroes, we want to know who they are and how we can help them individually." "I actually always think I'm in a rut and then I just lean into the hero and just ask them 1,000,001 questions,” Porowski added. “And that's how I get myself out of it every single time." Close
