Kane Brown Takes The High Road as He Announces Upcoming Album — and Tour!

Brown will be joined on the road by Mitchell Tenpenny, Scotty McCreery, Dasha and Ashley Cooke on select dates

Kane Brown is back with the follow-up to 2022's A Different Man.

Today (Oct. 10), the Tennessee-born country singer announced The High Road, due Jan. 24, 2025. Both of his latest singles — the Marshmello-produced "Miles on It" which peaked at No. 1 on the Dance charts and "Fiddle in the Band" — will be included on the new album.

Brown, 30, also teased another High Road single, "Back Seat Driver," on Instagram with clips of his two daughters, Kingsley Rose, 4½, and Kodi Jane, 2½, and his newborn son Krewe Allen, 3 months, whom he shares with wife Katelyn. "My whole world wasn't over that dash, it was back there buckled in, / Saying, 'Daddy, look there's a plane in the sky. Are we there yet? Did you just see that dog run by?'" Brown sings in the clip.

Brown recently accepted the Country Champion award at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards. Honored for his "dedication to empowering and supporting younger generations" according to Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events and Specials, NBCUniversal Entertainment, Brown took the stage to thank his family and friends for the support throughout his career. "I always, always look down on myself every day. [I] always look down on myself and I never think I should be on this stage," the "Thank God" singer said.
