To celebrate the Brooklyn Public Library's The Book of HOV ongoing tribute exhibit, JAY-Z's entertainment company, Roc Nation, teamed up with Christie’s and the library to auction off one-of-a-kind memorabilia — a Pinel et Pinel black leather case signed by the rapper, PEOPLE confirms exclusively. Proceeds from the auction will directly support the library. A metal bookmark, a The Book of HOV commemorative card, and 13 one-of-a-kind metal library cards showcasing different artwork from JAY-Z’s solo studio albums are included in the case. This item serves as an homage to the Brooklyn-born rapper’s global influence as a musician, entrepreneur and philanthropist. The case and cards will be on display at Christie’s Rockefeller Center galleries from Dec. 1 through Dec. 5. The Book Of HOV opened on July 14 and has attracted over 600,000 visitors. Kevin Mazur/Getty for Roc Nation The response to The Book of HOV has been “overwhelming," Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez said in a statement to PEOPLE. “We staged the exhibit at the Brooklyn Public Library, to serve as a reminder that genius lives in us all and there should be no barrier to knowledge and opportunity," Perez added.
