The late Euphoria actor had an effortless charisma, full-fledged enthusiasm for art, rap music, film and a knack for thrift shopping. In mid-September 2023, during a fog-covered evening in the backyard of his mom Lisa Cloud's Oakland, California home, Cloud's best friends and loved ones remembered his generosity and carefree spirit, describing his life growing up as an avid skateboarder and collector of unique items. But one thing that always stuck out about him was his love for helping others and giving back. "Well before Angus was making good money, he made a habit of supporting his fellow street artists, musicians, writers and pranksters and regularly brought food and other essentials to people living in the streets," says his mother Lisa. "100% of money raised by this auction will be used to honor Angus’s spirit by continuing to provide support to the artists and projects he gave so generously to during his lifetime." The auction itself will take place on Fri, Nov. 14 until Thurs., Dec. 12, both in person in Los Angeles and online as part of the Hollywood Legends collection. It also features items from Laurence Olivier and Bob Mackie, movies like Dirty Dancing and The Wizard of Oz and the hit TV series Friends, which runs from Dec. 10-13. Cloud's personal set will be offered in the sci-fi, horror and action section. Cloud gained overnight stardom with his portrayal of Fezco, the low-key drug dealer with a heart of gold, on Euphoria. Over 20 items from his life and career will be sold. One big-ticket item will be his 18K rose gold skeleton wristwatch from Ralph Lauren, which is estimated between $20,000 to $30,000 below. "Angus gave whatever he had to help his friends and support outside artists in his community in any and every way he could. The proceeds from this auction will be used to continue Angus’s generosity to the people and projects he believed in," Lisa continues. "We decided against setting up a non-profit entity to receive auction proceeds because of the rules governing how and whom we are allowed to give money to. Angus didn’t give to institutions, he gave to individuals he believed in. Angus also regularly went to encampments where unhoused people were gathered to offer food and gifts that he thought might make their day a little brighter. We will continue that offering." Other highlights of the auction include his Los Angeles Raiders hoodie, which is estimated at around $500-$700. Angus Cloud's hoodies, which are up for auction at Julien's Auctions. Julien's Auctions Some of the funds raised through the auction will help build Cloud Park, a memorial skate park next to Angus's high school in Oakland. Mike Oz, Cloud's grade school math teacher and now the executive director of the Oakland School for the Arts, where Cloud and his costar Zendaya attended, told PEOPLE in 2023 that he's helping this dream become a reality with Cloud's family, friends and legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. On July 3, Angus (born Conor Angus Cloud Hickey) died at 25 from acute intoxication following an accidental drug overdose. But his close friends and family — who still call him Conor — say he had no desire to be famous— he just wanted to be himself. "I want to be a regular person and have regular interactions with people," Angus said in a podcast in 2022. Now, Lisa believes others can honor her son — cherish his memory and continue his legacy. "I always knew he was special and I'm so glad the world also found out he was special," said Lisa to PEOPLE in 2023. "My son will always shine bright."
