Jason Bateman shared that he got a full-body scan — the preventative diagnostic treatment that's offered by Prenuvo and popular among celebrities — and discovered that it was a good source of jokes, as well as medical information.

On the Nov. 11 episode of SmartLess, the podcast Bateman co-hosts with Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, the Ozark star admitted that his cholesterol was “horrendous,” and shared that “I just had one of those full body scans.”

“And, no brain?” Arnett quipped.

“Yeah," deadpanned Bateman, 55, in response.

“And completely empty?” Arnett said.

“Sir, can we talk to you for a second?” Hayes chimed in.

“It's just one one microchip up there,” Bateman added.

“They said it's not — there's no heart. They just found a box with a picture of a heart in it," joked Arnett, before seriously asking, “So did you get the results back?”

“Yes. Thank you. The results were fine," Bateman shared. "Everything is fantastic, and, yeah, I'm very pleased. Because, you know, you never know with those things. You could get the, 'Okay, so your appointment to review your scan results is tomorrow at 3 o'clock?' Okay. So tomorrow at 3 o'clock, I'm gonna find out if I've got something I've got to worry about for the rest of my life.”

“You walk in and they get six doctors… and they're like, 'The team needs to speak to you,' ” Arnett said, referencing how bad news is often delivered in a medical setting. “Hey, Jason. Can you clear your schedule for the next four months? “

“And do you have a wife, girlfriend, best friend, someone that can maybe drive you?“ said Bateman.

“Are you religious at all?" added Arnett. "Because we got a guy here on standby.”

“We were talking about it, you and me, Will, the other day," Bateman said. "And you were like, ‘Well, I don't know. I mean, Do you wanna know?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I do if it's good news,’ and thank God, it was good. So that's good.”

The full-body scan has been popular with some celebrities: Maria Menounos says she discovered she had pancreatic cancer after having a scan; Kim Kardashian labeled the diagnostic tool “life saving"; and Selling Sunset star Mary Bonnet said the scan helped her discover why she'd struggled with fatigue and miscarriages for so long.

Prenuvo’s scans also come with a hefty price tag: a 30-minute torso scan is $999, a 45-minute torso and head scan is $1799, and the 60-minute full-body scan is $2499,
