On Sunday, August 4, Max teased the impressive line-up of new and returning shows that will premiere on the streamer later this year and next year, giving fans their first look at new seasons of favorites like The Last of Us and And Just Like That... plus a timely first-look at an all-new Game of Thrones prequel series. The brand spot kicked off with footage from Colin Farrell's upcoming series The Penguin, the new Dune prequel series, Dune: Prophecy, and a look at season 3 of Industry. Then, fans got their first look at the long-awaited third season of The Sex Lives of College Girls, as stars Alyah Chanelle Scott, Reneé Rapp, Pauline Chalamet and Amrit Kaur danced at a frat party, followed by a teaser for the new season of The White Lotus. MAX/Youtube A few new shots of And Just Like That... season 3 then played, showing Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) as Carrie said, "Very exciting." Footage from the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was shown next, giving fans their first look at Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and Dexter Sol Ansell as his squire, Egg. In the clip, Claffey rode on horseback before introducing himself as "Ser Duncan the Tall," while a clip showed his squire sitting by a roaring fire. The series, which is based on George R.R. Martin's novella The Hedge Knight, began production in June and tells the story of Dunk joining the Kingsguard while his squire, Aegon V Targaryen, eventually ascends the Iron Throne.
