Slater, 32, supported the “Yes, And?” hitmaker, 31, following her second Saturday Night Live hosting gig on Oct. 12. The actor and singer, who is also Grande's Wicked costar, was seen attending an afterparty with his girlfriend at neighboring New York City hotspot L’Avenue at Saks. According to a source, the pair attended with Grande's close friend Elizabeth Gillies and kept a low profile throughout the evening, avoiding the paparazzi outside. Also among the attendees was Scarlett Johansson alongside her husband, SNL star and writer Colin Jost. Stevie Nicks, who was the show's musical guest that night, was in attendance at the bash with her bandmates, as were SNL alums Maya Rudolph, Andy Samberg and Dana Carvey. (The latter trio appeared on Saturday's episode as Vice President Kamala Harris, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and President Joe Biden, respectively.) Saturday marked Grande’s second time hosting SNL. She has also been the musical guest three times, including acting as both host and musical guest in a double-duty March 2016 episode. Meanwhile, Grande and Slater met on the set of the upcoming two-part movie adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked, the first part of which is set for release on Nov. 22. Grande portrays Glinda in the film, with Cynthia Erivo acting as her co-lead Elphaba. Slater plays Boq, the love interest of Elphaba’s sister Nessarose, in the adaptation. Speaking with Vogue at the 2024 Met Gala, Grande called creating Wicked "the most extraordinary, transformative and beautiful experience I've ever had in my life." Slater’s son with ex-wife Lilly Jay was born in August 2022, and he separated from Jay in 2023, six years after they began dating. Grande separated from her now-ex-husband Dalton Gomez in 2023, following their second wedding anniversary. Grande and Slater began dating in July 2023. The "7 Rings" singer has pushed back on criticism of their relationship, telling Vanity Fair in an interview published Sept. 30, “There is no one on this earth with a better heart [than Slater].” A source previously told PEOPLE that Grande and Slater’s relationship is “different than what has been portrayed in public."
