Donna Kelce Wears Friendship Bracelet Given to Her by Today’s Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb: ‘Thanks Mama Kelce!’

Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb were excited to see Donna Kelce wearing her Today show friendship bracelet at the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest game.

Donna was spotted wearing the orange beaded bracelet Thursday as she watched her son Travis Kelce's team take on the Denver Broncos alongside his rumored new flame, Taylor Swift.

Guthrie, 51, and Kotb, 59, gifted the bracelet to Donna when she appeared on the show last week, and, on Friday, the costars commented on seeing the NFL mom wearing the piece of jewelry in public. 

“Are we not going to talk about the bracelet? She was wearing the bracelet we gave her!” Guthrie said, joking, “We’re not excited about it or anything…”

“There it is!” noted Kotb. “We gave it to her when she was on this show as a little present. We thought she put it in her pocket and walked away but instead, she was sporting it.”

“Let’s be honest, we thought it was going in the trash! “ continued Guthrie, who also called Donna “our close personal friend, Mama Kelce.” “But she’s wearing it. Thanks Mama Kelce! And we ate all her cookies too,” she added. 

“We did,” said Kotb.

“Those were good cookies,” added their fellow co-host, Al Roker.

During Donna’s appearance on the show last week, Guthrie quizzed the mother of two on her son and Swift, both 33, before presenting her with the bracelets.

"You know all the Swifites will kill us if we don’t ask. Is it a budding romance?” asked Guthrie.

“I honestly can’t tell you, it’s just too new!” replied Donna. “It’s too new.”

“Okay, well, guess what? Just in case, me and Hoda made you Today show friendship bracelets, so here you go,” continued Guthrie.

“Oh how fun! Thank you,” replied Donna. 

“You have a little Today show. You made us cookies so we had to return the favor,” added Guthrie. 

 “Oh that’s so sweet, thank you so much,” said Donna.  

“And by the way, your cookies were A+. We loved those so much,” noted Kotb.  

Swapping handmade beaded bracelets during the pop star’s Eras Tour became Swifties' new favorite pastime over the summer. The bracelets are inspired by the lyrics from Midnights song, “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” specifically the line, “Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”

Thursday night’s game marked the third time Swift and Donna have watched Chiefs tight end Travis play from the same suite. 

The pair were shown chatting on Amazon Prime Video's pre-game broadcast while seated next to each other at Missouri's Arrowhead Stadium. In the short clip, Swift smiled as she waved at fans in the stands and took a sip of her drink.

The “Lavender Haze” singer was also seen talking with Travis’ father, Ed Kelce.

Elsewhere during her appearance on Today, Donna dished on what she and Swift were chatting about when they were spotted during the Chiefs’ game against the New York Jets in New Jersey on Oct. 1.

Revealing she was talking about the workers on the field, Donna shared, “You know what it was, I was talking about this: you know when the commercial people come out in the orange gloves and they’re on the field. I was mentioning when they go like this," she said as she moved her hands in a circle, adding, "the commercial is over and they can play again."

Swift attended her first Chiefs’ game on Sept. 24, and watched the team soar to a 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.

Following the game, a source told PEOPLE that Travis had “rented out” the rooftop restaurant Prime Social in Kansas City for Swift, his friends and his teammates. The duo were pictured getting cozy at the party, with a photo showing Swift with her arm around Kelce.

"They showed up together and were cute and normal, just hanging out and chatting,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. They added of the pair, “They’re having fun and getting to know each other."
