The mega producer, whose real name is Terius Nash, is being accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam, 29, on April 4, 2013. She claims he assaulted, strangled and threatened her while she was pregnant during an argument at the Plaza Hotel. According to the complaint, 36-year-old Dream, who has produced hits for several pop stars including Beyoncé and Justin Bieber, kicked and punched Nam in the head and choked her against the wall. The complaint also states that he threatened to kill her “like OJ Simpson killed Nicole Brown.” The singer-songwriter – who was formerly married to Christina Milian and has a daughter, Violet, with he –, is being charged with assault, strangulation, reckless endangerment of a child and harassment. “Dream voluntarily surrendered to the Midtown North Precinct this morning in order to responsibly address the false allegations filed against him by Lydia Nam. He is innocent of the charges filed against him today, and we are confident that when this case is concluded and all the evidence has been reviewed, it will be clear that he is innocent,” his rep said in a statement. He posted a $20,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8. Close
