Constance Wu is learning that the transition from one to two kids is a little steeper than she thought.

On Sunday, the Crazy Rich Asians actress, 41, shared a rare comment about motherhood on her Instagram Story, revealing the one thing she didn't realize would take up her time when she added a second baby to her family.

"One thing I did not anticipate about having two kids is the amount of laundry and the time it takes!" Wu wrote. "The finding, washing, sorting, folding, putting away....it just...never ends lol."

In July, Wu shared the exciting news that she'd welcomed a second baby with boyfriend Ryan Kattner.

In a teaser for Danielle Robay's PRETTYSMART podcast, Wu talked about dedicating her book to her 2-year-old daughter, noting that it was written before the arrival of her son.

"Breaking news," she said to Robay. "Nobody knew I had a son."

Sharing a photo where she stood with her shirt lifted last February on Instagram, Wu revealed her baby bump — which she pointed at, writing in the caption, "Bun in the oven. Filipinese baby #2 coming soon."

Speaking to PEOPLE in October 2022, Wu shared that her daughter already "knows how to command Alexa to play a song" and is always eager for a dance party.

"She'll take anyone's hand, pull them into the middle of the room and say 'Dance!' " Wu added.

Wu opened up about her then-newborn in May 2021 when she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "I had a beautiful baby girl in August. She's the best, she's the best. She has a full head of hair. She has a blue butt," she said.

The star explained that her baby girl had a "Mongolian spot," which is officially known as congenital melanocytosis, a flat blue-ish birthmark that appears at birth or in the first few weeks of life for some babies. "Apparently, it happens in a lot of Asian babies, and my boyfriend and I are both Asian," Wu said.

She joked of Kattner: "He actually wrote a song about her blue butt. So, that will be on his next album."
