Trisha Yearwood's return to the 2024 CMT Awards is about to be a big one.

During tonight's show at the Moody Center in Austin, the country singer, 59, will perform her new track, "Put It in a Song," from her upcoming album and will become the first honoree of the inaugural June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award for her devotion to service and community.

And to celebrate her big night, Yearwood, who last attended the show in 2019, wore a striking red carpet look.

She stepped out wearing all black — but it certainly had plenty of bells and whistles. Yearwood's ankle-length turtleneck dress was covered in black sequins and the long sleeves ended in tons of gorgeous feathers for added drama.

Yearwood was joined by her sister, Beth Bernard. She matched Yearwood, also wearing all black, but Bernard opted for a suit. Her blazer and pants had a hint of floral, with a spray of flowers on one shoulder and one pant leg.

The last time Yearwood was at the CMT Awards, she attended solo in a blacked ruched dress layered under a blazer with a marble print. She accessorized with oversize earrings, plus a bolo necklace and snake-print shoes for a bit of a Western flair. She then changed into a bedazzled blouse and trousers for a powerhouse performance with Carly Pearce, Brandi Carlile, Tanya Tucker, Martina McBride, Lauren Alaina and RaeLynn.

In addition to working on new music, Yearwood is currently appearing on the Prime Video docuseries Friends in Low Places, which chronicles the opening of their Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in Nashville.
