While sharing a dispatch from her luxurious summer vacation in Greece, the Selling Sunset star, 43, opened up about experiencing homelessness as a child in an Instagram post on Sunday, Aug. 25. "If someone showed this to my 12 yr old self washing her hair in the river who wasn’t sure when she would get to have a place to call home again, I am not sure I could have believed it 🥹," she began in the caption of a carousel of photos and videos from her stay at the One & Only Kéa island resort with her partner G Flip and friend Chris Appleton. Footage from Appleton's Instagram account shows him joking around and dancing with the couple. The celebrity hairstylist and the soap star even went paddleboarding together, as seen in one photo. Today, she donates her time to organizations that work to end homelessness and served meals to people in need on Thanksgiving Day in 2021 with her then-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim. "Had such a great day volunteering with @thelamission who hosted such an amazing Thanksgiving for the homeless of LA today," Stause captioned a photo on Instagram of herself and her Selling Sunset costar at the time. "This is a cause close to my heart and I feel like speaking on it helps dismiss the conventional stereotype some people have of who these people are." Close
