And it was an extra special occasion for Robach, who walked down the aisle on her 37th birthday. Shue s mother, Anne Harms, officiated the ceremony, and the two wrote their own vows. Shue, 42, and Robach, 37, are recently divorced – and the wedding party consisted of Shue’s three sons with ex-wife Jennifer Hageney and Robach’s two daughters with her ex-husband, Tim McIntosh. “The wedding was absolutely beautiful,” a Today show rep, who attended the ceremony, tells PEOPLE. “Amy and Andrew were beaming.” As for the reception, the rep says, “The decor was simple and there were lots of candles. The guest list was fairly small. They wanted an intimate feel with close friends and family.” Most Talked-About Weddings in 2009 Aside from the writing their own vows, the couple veered away from tradition in other areas, as well. “Instead of a gift, they asked guests to give them their two favorite songs – one dance, one love – and they were played throughout the night,” says the rep. “And instead of wedding cake, they re having a birthday cake.” Adds the rep: “Amy even walked across the street from work to Saks [Fifth Avenue] to buy her dress and shoes – off the rack!” As for her kicks, Robach picked out Christian Louboutin shoes. Shue and Robach are wasting no time getting their honeymoon started: They plan to leave for Mexico on Sunday. Close
