Alessandra Ambrésio Bonds with Jamie Mazur Over Concerts and Kids

Despite some speculation to the contrary, it seems family life is quite lovely these days for Alessandra Ambrésio and Jamie Mazur.

Though rumors have been swirling that they’re on the rocks, the Brazilian model, 32, spoke glowingly of her fiancé at a gala Thursday in Los Angeles, telling PEOPLE of a recent date night they enjoyed.

“I love concerts, so he took me to a concert … We brought some food, and we did a little picnic before,” Ambrésio said at the inaugural gala for the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

They’ve also been bonding through their children – Anja, 5, and Noah, 17 months.

“It’s amazing to see Anja – everything she does with him is pretty incredible,” Ambrésio says. “I’m always watching them, and it’s just too cute. They hug each other, then they fall, both of them. It’s the cutest thing to see.”

Ambrésio, who wowed onlookers with her red Ferragamo dress, also said the kids are getting ready for Halloween.

“My daughter loves rainbows, so maybe [her costume will be] something with rainbows … or princess-related. I like getting my son and her to match.”
