Becky G is tapping into her emotions like never before on Esquinas.

On Thursday evening, the singer-songwriter, 26, released a Regional Mexican-inspired record, where Becky G honored her Mexican heritage and American upbringing by meeting in the esquina (corner).

Lyrically, the "Arranca" singer wore her heart on her sleeve in various breakup songs like "2ndo Chance," "Cries in Spanish" and "Bien Canijo" (with an honorable mention for the Vicente Fernandez covers!).

The emotional tracks come after Becky G — who has largely remained silent on the matter — learned of fiancé Sebastian Lletget's cheating allegations and he issued a public apology. Since then, she has not revealed where their relationship stands, though she has not publicly worn her engagement ring since.

Esquinas reveals a new side of Becky G as a singer and songwriter by belting out vocals and letting lyrics speak for her. Here's a breakdown of her most revealing lyrics on the album.

"2ndo Chance" ft. Ivan Cornejo

"2ndo Chance" is the opening track on the album and it sets the tone for the many tears that will be shed in this 13-track journey.

In this track, Becky G is utterly relatable as she contemplates giving an ex a second chance — even after they're hurt her deeply.

"My friends went out today/And I stayed here in my room/Listening to our playlist/And seeing photos that I did not post," she sings. "They say it's not OK to call you/But here nothing is fine/I don't know whether to say I love you/That I hate you, that I want to see you."

Later in the track, she tapped Regional Mexican singer and heartbreak king Ivan Cornejo. Together, they can't bare the thought of seeing an ex with someone else.

"Everyone has the right to make mistakes/For forgiveness there is always a second chance/I accept that it hurts me to remember you/But it hurts much more to imagine," she sings. "That you are drunk, with several friends/Doing with someone else, what you did with me/Tell me if you are lonely, sad and bored/That you also think about getting back with me."

She closes the song with a somber confession: "Even if it's a lie."

"Cries in Spanish" ft. Danny Lux

Becky G just proved that crying in Spanish hits different.

In "Cries in Spanish," Becky G asks herself the inevitable question after a relationship is over: was it all a lie?

"Sometimes I imagine we had/The ending we both wanted/If I was still your girl, what wouldn’t we do/Oh how it would be, if you and I would be," Becky G sings. "I know it's over, but tell me/You look good and you're not with me/It is that you never loved me/And what we had was false."

Nonetheless, it doesn't change the pain she feels and this duo captured that pain perfectly. Think JP Saxe and Julia Michaels' effect on "If the World Was Ending" — but make it Mexican.

"Apparently I was your world, I made you happy/Apparently you would’ve stayed with me until the end/If that was so/Tell me why you're not here," she sings.

"Bien Canijo"

"Bien Canijo" is the kind of track you'll want to scream at the top of your lungs.

In this track, Becky G assumes the role of someone who is in a relationship, knowing something is off. Here, she swallows her pride and voices her concerns with ease.

"I didn't want to say it/but here you go/I miss your kisses/What you give me/No longer tastes the same/Why are you silent?/Relax I will help you," she sings. "I’ll make it easy for you/I’ll step aside/If you tell me right now/That you have someone else/I do not know what is worse/That you tell me yes or that you don't care anymore/Why when you are drunk you tell me I love you but it doesn't show."

With guitar strumming and Becky G's powerful vocals, she reiterates her stance — but ensures that she won't be an easy one to get over.

"I’ll make it easy for you/I want to be happy/But I don't know if I am with you/I have to go along with everything even," she sings. "With a broken heart/I’ll make it easy for you/Cause getting over me will be really hard."

"Por El Contrario" ft. Angela Aguilar and Leonardo Aguilar

In "Por El Contrario," Becky G tapped the next generation of regional Mexican music, siblings Angela and Leonardo Aguilar, whose father is the legendary Pepe Aguilar.

Together, the trio has a conversation with a personified karma — wondering if the pain they feel is one-sided.

"I don't know if there is someone else that kisses you/If I'm still in your head/I want to know if you covered my name with another tattoo/With another name," they sing. "On the contrary, I almost lost my soul/To not feel your goodbye that disarms me/I tried to negotiate with karma/And he told me Everything is paid for/Everything is paid for."

This verse hits deep: "I scream to God why do you forsake me/Sometimes I lie/To see if I feel/That I can breathe without you/But you know that I don't know how to lie/I know you're fine without me."

"Cruz De Olvido"

"Cruz De Olvido" is the second-to-last track on the album, with the final being a tribute to her beloved late grandfather Miguel titled "Querido Abuelo."

Still, the album comes full circle with "Cruz De Olvido," a Vicente Fernandez cover about releasing a relationship.

"I swear to you, my love/That it's not because I don't love you/But it's better like this/Someday you will understand/That I did this for the sake of your well-being/That it was all for your sake," she sings. "I won't be to blame/In case you cry for me/It's better if I leave/I prefer that to causing you pain."

She continues, "The boat I will depart in/Carries a cross of oblivion/Carries a cross of love/And in that cross, without you/I will die from weariness."
