Natasha — the only daughter of Full House star Candace Cameron Bure and her husband, Valerie Bure — joined Perry, 25, and his friend Jake Short on their podcast, The Sit and Chat, on Monda, July 22, and the new couple opened up about the early days of their relationship, the bumps in the road and their trip to New York City – which culminated with Perry posting a blurry photo of them kissing on Instagram earlier this month. The Good Luck Charlie alum called her "the best" as he told his co-host, "Genuinely, she's the best person I know. I really do believe that." Meet the Kids of the 'Full House' Cast On the episode, Perry said that he and Natasha, 25, have "known each other for a while" after they "worked together" a few years ago, but they were "both dating other people" at the time. When he got in a car accident in December, Natasha replied to one of his posts, asking if he was okay, and the relationship slowly blossomed from there. "I responded and I was like, 'Oh my gosh, are you okay?'" Natasha recalled. But Perry was "snarky and sarcastic" in his reply to her, so she "never responded." Then, in January, Perry replied to a few of Natasha's Instagram Stories, and he joked that their beginning is "so modern and not romantic at all." They started to text all the time and then FaceTime, but the distance proved to be an issue as the Don't Sweat the Small Stuff actress lives in Texas. When they finally met up in person after about a month of texting, things didn't exactly go as planned, as Natasha said the "vibes were off," which led to her telling him she just wanted to be friends. "I didn't wanna be your friend," Perry said. Natasha had to work her way back from that, she said, as he "wouldn't budge" after she hit him with the just friends line. "He was like, 'I’m not doing anything,' and I was like, 'I’m giving you all the signs!'" The Cast of Good Luck Charlie: Where Are They Now? When asked by his co-host what his favorite thing about The Voice alum is, Perry pointed to their shared sense of humor. "It's very rare that I meet a person that has the same exact humor as I do. And oftentimes, things will happen, and we just look at each other and know what the joke was like, I don't have to say the joke, she just gets the joke already. I've never had to explain a joke to her, and if I do have to explain a joke to her, it's usually 'cause it's a bad joke." Natasha similarly mused that Perry's humor is among her favorite things about him, as she revealed that he'll save certain one-liners that will make her "bust out laughing" when they're "out in public." "And when I tell you I drop to my knees, about to pee my pants [with laughter], and that happens all the time. But our humor is very the same. I feel like we're just very similar people in general."
