Bluey Fans Can Now Stream Beloved Show's Banned 'Dad Baby' Episode — Find Out How!

Out of the show's 154 episodes, 'Dad Baby' is the only one not available to stream on Disney+

Bluey fans rejoice!

The popular Australian children’s show has made a missing episode from the series viewable on its official YouTube channel. The seven-minute episode, “Dad Baby,” is the only installment of the series not available on Disney+.

Bingo, the titular character’s sister, discovers a baby carrier that her parents Bandit and Chilli used to take her on walks. Bluey convinces her father Bandit to wear the device and pretend he’s pregnant with baby Bingo. The episode ends with Bandit “giving birth” to Bingo in an inflatable pool.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in June 2023, creator Joe Brumm said of the show’s topics, “You’ve gotta be really careful in preschool. There are two categories [of things that won’t fly]. There’s things that are going to get a kid hurt, and I rarely have an argument for that. The other one is more about taste — it’s what’s appropriate and what’s offensive.”

The showrunner said he would have to make concessions that cause concepts to “get dulled down” but would push back if he thought a joke was “too funny” to be rewritten. That was the case for “Dad Baby,” which “doesn’t get shown in America.”

“But what are you going to do, not make ‘Dad Baby’? I love it,” Brumm added.

PEOPLE has reached out to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios for comment.

Bluey recently finished its third season on April 14 with “The Sign,” an emotional, 28-minute finale. The “super-sized” episode received acclaim across social media, with viewers of all ages raving about its poignancy.

In “The Sign,” Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli celebrate the wedding of Bandit’s brother while also navigating moving to a new city — something Bluey “is not happy about,” per the Los Angeles Times’ synopsis.

“Everyone is trying to make the best decision at that time and you’re going to make mistakes,” Bandit’s voice actor Dave McCormack told the L.A. Times of the episode’s themes.

Although a fourth season is yet to be greenlit, fans of the Daytime Emmy-winning series can expect more Bluey on the horizon, according to show producer Sam Moor.

"No, it is not the end for Bluey. I'm sure we have many more surprises in store for you," Moor said to the BBC. "We have more in store and we are thinking what would be next."
