Angel Reese Scores Major Style Points with Blonde Hair Debut and Dynasty-Level Coat at 2024 CFDA Awards

Angel Reese is keeping it blonde and bougie at the 2024 CFDA Awards!

The WNBA star, 22, debuted blonde hair on Monday, Oct. 28, at the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s annual event at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Before walking the red carpet for photos, the Chicago Sky player teased her new hair color on Instagram Stories to her more than 4.4 million followers.

To complement her blonde hair, Reese wore the Emma gown from the Simkhai Pre-Fall 24 collection and white feathery coat. On her Instagram Stories, Reese also shared that Chanel gifted her a bracelet to wear to the event.

Diamond necklaces and rings added even more sparkle to her elegant look.

The Chicago Sky forward is making other inroads into fashion. On Oct. 24, Reese and athletic apparel company Reebok agreed to a multiyear endorsement contract extension — which includes her own signature shoe, set for a 2026 release.

On Monday, Oct. 28, the Council of Fashion Designers of America held its annual awards ceremony at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City honoring designers including Michael Kors, industry tastemakers like Annie Leibovitz and awarding Erykah Badu with the title of Fashion Icon.
