Stars Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Eddie Kaye Thomas reunited for a panel during Rhode Island Comic Con on Nov. 1, moderated by PEOPLE's Dory Jackson. While there, as the group reminisced about their time working on the franchise, Reid brought up a hilarious behind-the-scenes tidbit. "I didn't go with them, but I remember when you guys all went to the naughty club for lunch," said Reid, who starred as Vicky Lathum. "The strip club." The group said it happened during the making of American Pie 2, which premiered in 2001. Reid noted while they debated which movie's production it happened during, "No, not American Reunion. That strip club, I came with you guys." The Cast of American Pie: Where Are They Now? "We show up for rehearsal for American Pie 2 and our director was a wonderful man named J.B. Rogers. We sat around and we small talked for about five minutes and there was kind of a lull in the conversation," Thomas, who played Paul Finch, recalled. "He goes, 'You want to go to the strip club across the street?' and we were like, 'Yeah, we want to go to the strip club across the street. It seems appropriate.' And I don't think we rehearsed. Did we run any lines?"Klein, who starred as Chris Ostreicher, chimed in to say, "I don't think so." "J.B. basically said, 'You guys know your characters more than I could ever help you,' " Nicholas, who played Kevin Myers, added, "And I'm pretty sure you guys all bought me my very first lap dance at that strip club." There were also multiple direct-to-video spinoffs living under the American Pie Presents umbrella.As the first film celebrated its 25th anniversary in July, Biggs teamed up with Edwards Desserts to reimagine American Pie's iconic pie scene — but now, in a family-friendly fashion. "What that time has given me is perspective and real appreciation for the impact that the movie has had around the world," Biggs, 46, said. "Wherever I travel, people want to talk to me about it. There's now another one or two generations of people that have seen the movie, identified with the movie, liked the movie. It's been a really, really special thing for me."
