I had the opportunity to speak at the Testing Talks Conference 2024 in Melbourne, where I joined a panel of industry experts to discuss building team buy-in for new automation frameworks and tools. It was a great chance to share insights on how we can align quality initiatives with business goals and ensure smooth transitions for teams. Key takeaways: - Collaboration is key: Getting early buy-in requires strong communication across teams. - Adaptability matters: Frameworks and tools should fit into existing workflows without creating roadblocks. - Long-term vision: The right automation tools can deliver ongoing value, but only with proper planning and support. 🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 I'm thrilled to share that we recently developed a Flutter integration driver for Appium and aimed to build client-side bindings for it. Initially, we planned to create and maintain these bindings ourselves, but after discussing our approach with the Appium dev team, they embraced our idea with enthusiasm. We collaborated and submitted a pull request, which has now been successfully merged! 🎉 As a result, the latest version 9.3.0 of the Java client now includes Flutter APIs. Accelerate Quality Engineering processes and practices with AI Looking at AI capabilities and opportunities in Quality Engineering space in the recent days, I was exploring areas where I can kick start my AI learning journey with practice. I'm fortunate for being part of today's AI workshop at University of Canterbury by TTC Global who fulfilled the learning desires of Quality engineers from UC.
