We launched VIP Loyalty last week. It's a big feature. You'd think we'd take a breather, stop shipping new stuff for a minute. You'd be wrong. VIP was big body of work and a critical new feature. It gives us a step function increase in how Raleon can deliver personalized loyalty across the customer lifecycle. I'd love to show you a demo if you think it could be a good fit for you store. Hit me up! But VIP was just the start to the week. 8 business days later, we've already: - Successfully launched loyalty programs for multiple 8-figure brands into production. - Including migrating two enterprise customers from a key competitor. - Shipped a new landing page embed for our customers (it's drag and drop, saves days of configuration work on the Shopify side, looks great, and we're already seeing strong engagement data) - Released a major expansion to our Analytics platform, increasing metrics on our key dashboards by close to 50% and adding new product level predictions to our Loyalty Copilot.  - Launched v2 of our integration to Klaviyo, expanding the marketing automation capabilities between the two systems (on top of the loyalty-based segmentation and personalization we already had in place). - Launched an integration to a new subscription plugin that is critical to one customer's retention strategy. - Shipped a new Checkout Extension for our Shopify Plus customers, giving deeper engagement opportunities throughout the customer journey - we have plans to add new personalization and AI recommendations here in the near future. Update per Casey Newton: the bsky contract moderation team is growing from 25 to 100 which should hopefully provide more bandwidth for addressing abuse reports. We're also seeing an improved take-down rate and decreased latency from creation to suspension as the bsky team creates detection signatures for this attack and is able to respond faster to our reports of the ones that slipped through their rules but were caught by our sensors or automation. https://lnkd.in/gT25nGXc

In an attempt to demystify some of the non-obvious elements we found when we first met the founders of our fastest growing portfolio companies at 186 Ventures, here is the third edition of the "idiosyncratic phenomenon". This highlight will be on Albert Katz, Leon Anijar, and Will Hu and their journey building Flagler Health to bring unprecedented AI enabled patient care to the world of musculoskeletal (MsK) providers. As the healthcare industry shifts to a value based care paradigm, there will be increased pressure on the entire industry to ensure patient outcomes improve, all the while helping providers generate more revenue / become more cost efficient. Since we co-led their March, 2024 seed round with Streamlined, the company has rolled out some of their newest remote therapeutic and chronic condition management features to many patients and providers alike, experiencing high revenue growth in such a short period of time. In the last 18 months of building Clappit we have tested, broken and rebuilt the product extensively to rethink how we can impact engineers at scale. Today we move with a calm confidence into the journey and pivot of truly serving world class companies. Is this ARR madness? Logitec proposes mouse as a service. As one Reddit user joked - if you exceed the mouse clicks, you go to premium plan. Yes we know from Economics 101 that rent is the most profitable concept. But a society of renters (and here we try to build one when everything is rented) is a society of poor people. Soon your electric toothbrush will stop working when you forget to pay the monthly fee. May be your fridge too. And you many not be able to go into your house if you haven't updated or paid the monthly fee for your smart lock. In big companies it’s often not build vs buy. It’s build and buy and do nothing, simultaneously. Many big companies we worked with at Propeller were, at any given moment: • Running internal teams/programs developing competitive products,  • Exploring alternative, overlapping partners, and • Contemplating increasing, pausing or reallocating investment altogether. You’ll do better if you assume big companies aren’t making a binary, or irrevocable, decision.

I probably need a surfing holiday. 🌊 🤔 Because the only analogy I could think of when it came to talking about Product Market Fit in the context of building and investing at SAAS NORTH Conference is a surfing analogy. The wave is the market: Some are big, some are small and not really worth riding. Your surfboard is your product: Sometimes you're light enough and your board is big enough to grab a wave without paddling. Wave = Market 🌊 Surfboard = Product 🏄‍♀️ But the bigger and more fun the wave, the more surfers in the ocean, the more competition to be in the right spot in the lineup, the harder you have to paddle to catch that wave. You ability to ride that wave? This comes down to your fitness and paddling efficiency. How hard can you and team paddle? How efficient are you? How well can you read the ocean, how well can you position ( 😅 ) yourself for a perfect takeoff. Once you're on the wave, you constantly have to read it to get the most out of it / avoid catastrophe. Wave = Market 🌊 Surfboard = Product 🏄‍♀️ Your ability to catch and ride that wave = GTM and constant innovation. Bonus: Once you go multi-product, are you adding another surfer to that wave or is a different wave all-together? Double Bonus: AI is a very very big wave. Triple Bonus: I've attached a surfing video to prove nothing more than that I'm still learning. The very best founders are wave spotters, board shapers, and great at dropping in. Do I think Vidyard has PMF? It's a spectrum. We can always get better at riding our wave, and that AI wave is looking mighty fun... This is how you piss off both developers and sales #startuplife Discussion on a new feature requirements spec: - CEO to sales: features A,B,C are too complicated, requires a new elastic search, a new job queue system, etc; we can’t afford that until we double our ARR and have new team to maintain it (At the same time…) - CEO to developers: let’s design features D,E,F this way, so we maintain flexibility to migrate them into a microservices in future yet still fulfill the P0 requested by customers 🫠

Reflecting today on the past year of rebuilding and investing into Traject Data with my first post in awhile! We're now processing over 2 BILLION results per month! The was showcased as #primeday data continued to stream to our partners while most of this industry went down completely. Diving into #data aggregation in an age where "feeding the beast" of #AI is so critical to #marketplace retailers and #marketing agencies is both intense and exciting. Being able to provide the level of large, reliable datasets, and doing it consistently is exactly how we bring light to those in the dark on critical days like Prime Day. Very energized by the customer workflows I’m seeing incorporating Zapier core, Tables by Zapier, Interfaces by Zapier and Central by Zapier! Whole applications and ecosystems are being built and they are all powered by Zapier!
