    I was initially engaged for three months to develop an overarching communications and engagement strategy and provide advice on communications resourcing, project planning, and public consultation systems and processes.

    I was subsequently retained to support the Waitohi Picton terminal Covid-19 fast-track consenting process and establish the recommended channels, systems, and processes. This included designing and implementing digital communication, engagement and CRM systems and channels.
    In my work for the Waitohi Picton project I advised the project team, facilitated mana whenua, key stakeholder and community engagement, and developed communication channels, key messages and content.

    The Northern Gateway tollroad was the first ‘greenfields’ project to be progressed under the Land Transport Management Act 2003, Transit New Zealand’s largest-ever capital project and the first state highway to be progressed through tolling. This award was won for the project's comprehensive PR, communication and community relations programme, which I developed and led during my secondment to this project.
