We’re thrilled to announce Laura Johns’ promotion to Director - Quantity Surveying at RDT Pacific, while continuing her leadership as our Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland regional lead! Laura brings over 25 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a background spanning major projects in Aotearoa and the UK across office construction, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors. Laura’s commitment to our clients and kaimahi staff is unwavering - she’s known for her clear, straightforward communication, and her dedication to high standards. From cost savings to smooth project execution, Laura has played an instrumental role in ensuring RDT Pacific consistently delivers excellence across sectors. We had an amazing day on Saturday at the Auckland Special Children’s Christmas Party! 🎄✨ It was incredible to see so many tamariki and their whānau enjoying a day full of joy, laughter, and Christmas magic. We are excited to let you know about Russell McVeagh’s next Building Knowledge Construction Seminar, presented by Russell McVeagh Property Partner, Ed Crook and RDT Pacific’s Technical Director, Mike Hanson. We are on the move! Our Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland team is getting ready to relocate to our new office at 200 Victoria Street West in Auckland CBD on 16th December!   This move marks an exciting new chapter for RDT Pacific as we step into a space that brings us closer to our clients and partners and offers an inspiring environment for collaboration and innovation.   Ngā mihi nui to everyone involved in making this transition happen—we look forward to welcoming you to our new home soon!

We’re proud to partner with the Ministry of Education New Zealand to revitalise Marlborough Boys College, bringing long-overdue updates and future-proofing the school for generations to come. Construction is set to begin in 2025, marking the start of a comprehensive upgrade designed to benefit students, staff, and the community at large.   Kudos to Jason Burgess and Chris Dunn from our RDT Pacific Ōtautahi Christchurch team, who will be providing Project Management services for the refurbishment of several existing blocks and the gym, along with the introduction of a new Technology & Design block and upgraded Learning Support facilities.   Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou to all our partners, Ministry of Education New Zealand, BCN Architects, Maltbys Ltd and Marlborough Boys College.
