Back again with part ten of our series, 'Tech Shift: Overcoming transformation hurdles.' Dedicated to helping businesses overcome the most common roadblocks along the way to digital transformation success, this is a series where the questions have been asked by you and answered by us. Let's get into it. "How can I make sure our business uses the new technology?" Two words. Change management. If you want to boost the rate of CRM adoption in your business, make sure that someone has the responsibility of change management, a champion of sorts, throughout your implementation process and afterward. This person should be internal, not outsourced. A person who understands the business and its culture, and also has the gravitas to keep momentum going and make things happen. Ideally, you would have a champion within each of your teams/departments, so that there are people on the ground supporting team members and giving practical, relevant feedback about the solution. With this kind of champion programme, you want to make sure that you’re incentivising your champions, giving them the proper resources, training and time they need to perform their roles, supporting them, and recognising them for their work. Especially since it’s likely the champion role will be an addition to their current role. There’s a bit of consideration and planning that goes into organising a champion programme, but by doing this, you begin to democratise your solution, reduce the overall reliance on specialised (and expensive) human resources, and ultimately empower your people to use the CRM.

We're rolling into part nine of our series, 'Tech Shift: Overcoming transformation hurdles.' Dedicated to helping businesses overcome the most common roadblocks along the way to digital transformation success, this is a series where the questions have been asked by you and answered by us. We've discussed it before and we'll discuss it again. How can you reduce risk when it comes to the security of your business data? Teach your people and your customers. Understanding how to work with data can often feel like something that’s best left to the more technical teams/individuals in your business. This would be a mistake. Not only does it leave massive parts of your business vulnerable to security breaches, but it also means that when you’re faced with issues in this area, you can only rely on a small number of key people to solve it. You should take the time to educate your people and clients about how to handle data. Customers and employees alike should know what data you can and can’t hold. And where necessary, you should be implementing steps to reduce the chances of them handing over inappropriate data. This could look like a simple signed confirmation that they aren’t giving you sensitive information.

It's part eight of our series, 'Tech Shift: Overcoming transformation hurdles.' Dedicated to helping businesses overcome the most common roadblocks along the way to digital transformation success, this is a series where the questions have been asked by you and answered by us. Let's get into it. Today we're touching on, "How can I make sure our business uses the new technology?" (Again... because there's just so much to say about this one!) Recognise that not everyone is going to learn at the same pace. Some people will grasp the tool straight away and others are going to really struggle. You need to prepare for this. Identify the people who need more support—these people might seem like they have a very negative attitude about the solution, but this is usually just an indicator that they’re struggling. So make sure that your training accommodates all skill levels. If you’re doing a group training session, have a support person to help people who are having a hard time in the room, without you having to halt the entire training. Also think about facilitating some pre-training or even 1-on-1 sessions to get up to speed without the pressure of the group environment (because nobody likes feeling incompetent, much less in front of a group). With sufficient training, your people will feel empowered using the tool. What’s more, they’ll feel empowered helping others use it too. We're diving into part seven of our series, 'Tech Shift: Overcoming transformation hurdles.' Dedicated to helping businesses overcome the most common roadblocks along the way to digital transformation success, this is a series where the questions have been asked by you and answered by us. Let's get into it. This week we're heading back to, "How can I reduce risk when it comes to the security of our business data?" Set up permissions on a granular level. It’s highly unlikely, especially in enterprise organisations, that all employees need full access to every part of the implemented platform. Allowing company wide access in that way poses massive risks to security, as it increases the likelihood of accidental (or even intentional) tampering or exposure of sensitive information. Taking the time to understand the levels of access needed by each team or role in your business, and configuring these permissions in your platform, will go a long way in reducing the overall data security risks within your organisation. Get in touch with us to discuss how we can configure your HubSpot portal to be more secure across your organisation 👇 https://hubs.li/Q02L-n8c0

Check out this update from INBOUND by our Head of Solutions; Kristen Pak. According to Matt Sornson, HubSpot GM of Data and Intelligence, HubSpot saw a 30% increase in conversion rates after they implemented form shortening. This is incredible. That such a small change had such a significant impact. So what is form shortening and how does it work? Once a customer enters their email into your form, Breeze Intelligence software will dynamically populate form fields with known data and adapt the form to only ask for data they don't have. This means you're able to access more data, without giving your audience a laundry list of form questions that drives them straight to the exit button. Now the great thing about Breeze Intelligence is that its dataset is automatically updated every month, meaning you're using up-to-date intelligence for your enrichment strategy. And what's more, this is just one aspect of the Breeze software. We'll be going through the rest at our upcoming INBOUND Insights events, so make sure to register. INBOUND Day 1: The HubSpot & ChatGPT Integration. Our Head of CRM - Matthew Boyd, dove straight into the INBOUND action, leading a brain-dating discussion on the new HubSpot and ChatGPT integration. This integration allows users to set up highly niche automation requests beyond the native HubSpot workflow capabilities. For example, you could create a workflow that looks up your new HubSpot contacts, amends their contact names as per your naming convention standards and applies the changes directly to the contact record all in one fell swoop. And the best part is, the integration enables you to set it all up without even having to leave the HubSpot interface. We'll be covering the extensive capabilities of this integration next week at our webinar: INBOUND Insights. Hit the link to RSVP and join us online: September 25th. https://hubs.li/Q02Ql--w0 If you're planning on being in Sydney on October 23rd, hit the below link to join us at the in-person INBOUND Insights event: https://hubs.li/Q02Qmf1l0
