AI is such an interesting opportunity (as well as potentially fraught!) to make the work of the GLAM sector more widely accessible. I came across a wonderful AI experiment recently - called the Living Museum which has been made by Jonathan Talmi using publicly available data from the British Museum. Jonathan says: "I made this because I wanted to explore how modern technology like AI could be used to augment the experience of visiting museums, and bring the experience to people at home. I view this as an early test in how conversational interfaces, AI museum guides, enhanced catalogue search, augmented reality, and virtual reality could be used t o make museums more interactive, engaging, and educative." I found it totally fascinating to have a "conversation" about an object which was surprisingly engaging. What do you think of it?

One of the questions we get asked a LOT is which touchscreens to buy. With over 30 years experience in this area we attempt to answer those common hardware questions in this post: (ask me any other hardware questions in the comments - we are not "selling" anything, just happy to share our knowledge.) https://lnkd.in/fcn-VQ6
