Treat your business relationships as fellow human-beings and not as a number in a pipeline. Your company, your managers and you (above all) need to believe that establishing and nurturing relationships is far more important than closings a deal. When you tap into that zone, you start realizing that Customer Relationship Management is similar to investing in your friendships / personal relationships through care, effort, offering value, and having fun doing it. If you are unable to care for business relationships on that level, you probably aren’t a very good friend or you don’t value human connection as you should :) My 0.2 cents from my humble experience..

What do you do if your sales pitch is constantly being rejected?
Go back to basics. 1) Is your pitch centered around identifying a problem? 2) Is the problem you are identifying real and relevant to the lead? 3) How are your prospects dealing with this problem? You do not need to pitch at this point, you need to practice Active Listening in order to identify a problem that your leads find worth fixing with a solution you provide. Stop Pitching, Practice Active Listening.. until you figure out your pitch ;)
