Celebrating 10 Years of the Open Charge Alliance! Two weeks ago, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Open Charge Alliance with an inspiring three-day event in Amsterdam! The festivities kicked off with a lively reception and dinner, bringing together OCPP enthusiasts, partners, and members. Over 200 attendees joined us for a conference, an exhibition where 15 companies showcased the latest OCPP applications, and the exciting announcement of OCPP’s acceptance as an IEC standard. We also welcomed four new OCPP Ambassadors: Amanda Brock, Rish Ghatikar, Riccardo Pagliarella, PhD, and Kor Meelker. A canal boat tour created unforgettable networking opportunities, and exclusive field visits connected participants with policymakers and e-mobility innovators. OCPP 2.1 Draft Public Review Period Has Closed 🕛   Over the past 60 days, OCPP enthusiasts have had the opportunity to review the draft version of OCPP 2.1. We received great review comments during this period, and we’d like to thank everyone for their contributions. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve the protocol and ensure we publish a thoroughly vetted new version.   Now that the review period has closed, our technical editors have begun processing the feedback and are working diligently to finalize OCPP 2.1.   Thank you once again for helping us enhance the quality of OCPP 2.1, and stay tuned for updates!

On this third day of celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Open Charge Alliance, various groups of international EV pioneers ventured out across the country. We had the opportunity to connect with some of the leading OCA members and Dutch policymakers in the field of electric mobility. The following companies, municipalities and professionals are participating as tour stops: Gemeente Amsterdam, Gemeente Utrecht, Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat, Vattenfall, Fastned, Irdeto, Alfen, E-Flight Academy, DEAC Dutch Electric Aviation Centre Teuge, DEKRA, ElaadNL, Allego and DNV. Some of us will be flying this afternoon, some will dive deeper into public policies while others get to see the newest fast and smart charging technologies. We would already like to thank everyone travelling with us and everyone involved in the program. This is a great opporunity to share knowledge and to drive open standards in EV Charging further. #OCPP #evcharging
