“This project is a testament to the leadership we’re seeing across the country at a state level to accelerate the build-out of a robust charging network for all EV drivers,” said Rick Wilmer, CEO at ChargePoint. The Colorado Energy Office says the project has doubled Colorado’s corridor DC fast-charging coverage. In 2019, only 40% of highway corridors were within 30 miles of a fast charger. Now, thanks to the program, nearly 80% of those corridors have fast-charging access within 30 miles. That’s a huge win for EV drivers in the state.
