Keynote speaker n°4: Lieve Laurens 🙂 « Building a Sustainable Carbon Efficient Future with Photosynthetic Algae Systems » For the very last day of AlgaEurope 2024, held at National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos" center, we have the pleasure to attend the presentation of Lieve Laurens from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, USA, as our final keynote speaker. 💡 Dr. Lieve Laurens is the Principal Scientist and Algae Platform team lead at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's Bioenergy Center. She is primarily responsible for research in analytical biochemistry, investigating ways to understand carbon energetics towards lipid, carbohydrate, and protein production in microalgae and other microorganisms.
