About us

The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) was established through the promulgation of the Nigerian Export Promotion Decree No. 26 of 1976 and formally inaugurated in March, 1977. This act was amended by Decree No.72 of 1979 and further amended by the Nigerian Export Promotion Decree No. 41 of 1988 and complimented by the Export (Incentives and Miscellaneous Provisions) Decree No. 18 of 1986. The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) is the Federal Government of Nigeria’s apex institution for the promotion, development and diversification of non-oil exports. NEPC has over the years worked to achieve its mandate by e.g.: Coordinating and harmonizing export development and promotion activities in the country Taking the lead in all national export programs Interfacing with international trade agencies on cooperation and capacity building Our Vision To make the world a market place for Nigerian non-oil products Our Mission To spearhead the diversification of the Nigerian economy by expanding and increasing non-oil exports for sustainable and inclusive economic growth. Our Strategy Diversify the productive base of the Nigerian economy away from oil and foster market-oriented, private sector-driven economy through market oriented export products development
