This week, we change topic (or not), for a little bit. Celebrating the huge win by my elder baby, LoftyInc Capital as she emerged the Venture Capital Firm of the Year 2024. The journey started by four young men, in a gatehouse in Ogba in those early days of LoftyInc Allied Partners Limited is today a Continental Powerhouse of investments and opportunities for our young people. About 15 years ago, we started this journey and it is paying off daily in lives and economies transformed across the continent enabling the innovation and enterprise of our youths with technology. My foray with my partners in technology and its success on the back of self belief and determination coupled with some dose of good luck and timing, and subsequent participation in renewable energy revolution in Nigeria about 8 years ago and its own legs is what strengthens my belief that this CNG journey is just the first inning of a very long game of economic transformation powered by gas for our dear country and sub/region. Lets approach this new journey with self belief and confidence. #PowerForward

Alyune previously worked at Joliba Capital, a generalist Private Equity fund that mainly focuses on SMEs in Francophone West and Central Africa. He also has experience with the Tikehau Capital private equity team in London and LBO France’s small- and mid-cap teams in Paris. Before this, he worked at Sonatel, the leading telecommunications operator in Senegal on P&L optimization and the growth of the mobile money service; Orange money.
