𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗻𝗲-𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘁 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 🎓✨ I know firsthand how challenging it can be to write a compelling one-page SOP or personal statement. To help you overcome this hurdle, I have created a video tutorial analyzing the content and structure of a winning one-page SOP, including the one that secured my friend a fully funded master’s scholarship. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: · 𝘿𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚: Your story is unique and deserves to be told in your voice. Use this tutorial as a guide to organize your thoughts and create a standout SOP. · 𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙚: A one-page SOP requires clarity and focus—every word counts. 🔗 Watch the full SOP tutorial here: https://lnkd.in/dHKPZFYu 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀: Structure your SOP to tell a story: 1. Introduction: Who are you, and what’s your motivation? 2. Body: Highlight your achievements, skills, and why you are a good fit for the program. 3. Conclusion: Share your aspirations and how the program aligns with your long-term goals. Be authentic and specific—this is your chance to shine! Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel for more application tips, and remember to stay motivated, keep pushing forward, and know that I am rooting for every one of you. Best of luck with your applications! 🌟 #Scholarship #PhDLife #StudyAbroad #SOP #Mentorship #HigherEducation #AcademicSuccess

T𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗢𝗣 𝗚𝗼𝘁 𝗠𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗔🎓✈️ After reviewing several SOPs for the December 1st deadlines, I have noticed the requests keep coming, and I can't review everyone’s SOP individually. To address this, I have decided to share and review the SOP I used, which earned me several fully funded offers, and the SOP that got my friend a fully funded MSc offer. This could be incredibly helpful for those working toward the December 15th deadline or future application cycles. One of the most difficult parts of applying for a scholarship is personalizing your SOP to reflect you and what you bring to the table if admitted (your skills). It took me months to craft an SOP I was truly proud of. One interesting thing I eventually learnt is that a good SOP should tell a coherent story that connects your past, present, and future in a compelling way. It should be able to tell your story from the past (motivation and bachelor studies), then your present (what are you doing now and why this school), and finally your projected future (what is your long-term goal or what you wish to do after the scholarship). To help everyone, I have created a short video tutorial as usual showcasing what a practical, winning SOP looks like. Use it as a guide to understand how to craft your own story. Do not 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲—your story is unique, but learning from mine can inspire you to write a stronger, more tailored SOP. There are no excuses now, and stop asking me to review your SOP, if you haven’t written something nice for yourself, don’t waste my time👌 🔗 Watch the full tutorial of the SOP here: https://lnkd.in/dc8CtX-J Don’t forget to 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁, and 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 to my channel for more application tips, and remember to stay motivated, keep pushing forward, and know that I am rooting for each one of you. Best of luck with your applications! 🌟 𝗡𝗕: Your SOP is just one part of your application. I have already reviewed the CV and will cover other aspects in future posts. These tips are based on my personal experience—there’s no single path to success. #Scholarship #PhDLife #Studyabroad #SOP #Mentorship #HigherEducation #AcademicSuccess

"Gaining Valuable Insights in Peace and Security" As a graduate student at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies - IPSS, I had the privilege of supporting the research team led by Jesutimilehin O. Akamo (MNIIA) as a rapporteur for the APSA Policy Dialogue Series #2: "Holistic Recovery: Enhancing Conflict Prevention and Response for Agenda 2063" held on 6th December, 2024 at IPSS conference hall. This experience has provided me with invaluable insights into the critical role of Africa Peace Security Architecture (APSA) in promoting peace and security in Africa. I also learnt how conflict prevention and response strategies can contribute to Africa's long term goals outlined in Agenda 2063. I am grateful to the Global and European Studies Institute (GESI) at Leipzig University for giving me the opportunity in studying the joint Master Programme- Global Studies with emphasis in Peace and Security in Africa. My appreciation goes to everyone, family, friends, senior colleagues and mentors who supported me throughout this journey. Special thanks to Oludayo Oluwatosin Gabriel Timileyin Gabriel Olajuwon Yusuff Liadi Abiodun Adeola Adeshina Emmanuel Falade Oluwaseun Kolawole L.Omolewa Shobogun Jacob Sule, Aisha Umaru Adamu, Donatus Ozemhoya Moyosola Agboola for your impact, encouragement and push always.
